Roasted Pepper Sauce

Roasted Pepper Sauce

Great for adding to pasta dishes. Also great as a cold dipping sauce.







Preparation time - 5 mins
Cooking time - 35 mins

Ingredients (serves 5)
3 peppers 
1 tbsp oil
250ml passata
3 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp onion powder 
1/4 tsp sugar
6 Basil leaves

To cook


1. Roughly chop the peppers. Roast in a 180°oven for 30 min.







2. C
hop the garlic and fry till lightly brown.








3. Blend the peppers, garlic, passata, salt, black pepper, sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder and basil leaves. Simmer for 5 mins in a pan then serve.
